Gina Mento created Serendipity Dance Ensemble in February of 2007 as a way for adult dancers of the lehigh valley
to express their passion through the art of dance. A native of Bethlehem, Gina began her training at the Kathleen Magyar School
of Dance at the age of 3. She continued studying dance at Radford University under the tutelage of Margaret Devaney, Pegeen
Albig, and Dagmar Kessler. She graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance. Gina has also
studied with the Alvin Ailey School of Dance. In July of 2001, Gina joined PA Dance Vision Repertory Ensemble under the artistic
direction of Maria Triano where she danced for 5 years. In May of 2005 she joined Ballet Espressivo in Toronto.
Gina has choreographed many dances throughout the Lehigh Valley including a full length ballet entitled "The Lonely Butterfly".
She also teaches ballet, jazz, modern, and ballroom dance at the Kathleen Magyar School of Dance which houses Serendipity
as well as her student company, The Willow Park Ballet Theatre.
